National Park Service rangers lead a free half-mile walk from the Presidio Visitor Center through Presidio Tunnel Tops and the historic Main Post. The walk traces the Presidio’s story from the Ohlone people through Spanish and U.S. Army eras to today’s national park. The route is flat and all ages are welcome; wear comfortable shoes and layers.
