The city's best-known market runs year round. The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, operated by Foodwise, sets up at the Ferry Building at the Embarcadero and Market Street every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. Inside, the Ferry Building is home to local artisan food merchants, restaurants and small eateries. At Fort Mason Center, the free Fort Mason Night Market returns on select Friday nights with local artisans, food curated by Off the Grid, and entertainment. Sunday Streets, the city's open streets program, turns miles of streets into car-free spaces where local businesses and organizations meet their neighbors. Seasonal markets, including holiday makers' fairs, are added here as organizers announce their dates.
