Some of the best options for kids are free and run all year. San Francisco Public Library holds story times for babies, toddlers and preschoolers at branches across the city, and all of its programs are free and open to the public. SFMOMA admits guests 18 and younger free, and its Free Family Days cover up to two adults coming with a child or teen. At the de Young and the Legion of Honor, visitors 17 and under always get into the permanent collection galleries free. Outdoors, the car-free JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park is open to all ages and abilities, and Sunday Streets turns city streets into car-free space for kids to play.
