The 2026 Sundown Cinema series closes with the 1988 Beetlejuice outdoors at Crane Cove Park on the central waterfront. The organizer says movies begin just after sunset (about 6:30 p.m. in mid-October), with activities for the whole family beforehand; an exact start time has not been posted. Free and open to all, with an optional RSVP for a chance at the reserved seating section. Bring a blanket and warm clothes. At the series’ other 2026 screenings alcoholic beverages were sold on site; the films are chosen as family-friendly.
