Project SF does not currently use affiliate links or display ads. Nothing we checked on this site earns us a commission when you click a link, book a room, or buy a ticket. (Checked on the home page on October 27, 2026; other pages were not checked line by line.)
We may add affiliate links later, for things like tours, hotels or tickets. If we do, we will update this page with the date it changed. Until then, treat every recommendation here as unpaid.
What It Does Not Change
We do not accept payment in exchange for including a place or event or ranking it higher. We list events and places because they fit the reader. Many of them, like parks, free festivals and museum free days, would earn us nothing in any case. If a guide includes sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored at the top of the page.
