Quinteto Latino is a Bay Area chamber group of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn and bassoon that sets out to widen who gets heard in classical music, programming works by Latin American composers alongside arrangements of Latino folk melodies. This free hour-long lunchtime concert on the Great Lawn is part of the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.
No ticket is needed; bring lunch and find a spot on the grass. A relaxed first taste of chamber music for kids and anyone curious about classical music beyond the usual repertoire.
