From the organizers: “This two-day shopping bonanza features over 100 local vendors, delicious food, holiday themed activities, live music, and more.”
Sunset Mercantile’s 11th annual holiday market fills the County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park for two days, Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, from 11am to 5pm, with more than 100 local makers, merchants, artists and vendors. There are also food artisans and food trucks, live music, storytelling, community causes, a holiday-themed photo booth and activities for children and families. Admission is free, and the organizers say all are welcome.
Good to know: alcohol is served (the program lists beer and wine tasting). It is a family event with kids’ activities, and the organizer’s page gives no age limit for entry. Pets are not allowed inside the building, service dogs excepted. There is no parking lot at the building; the organizers point to street parking and the paid lot in Golden Gate Park, and list Muni lines N, 6, 7, 43, 44 and 66.

Sunset Mercantile told us about this market directly on October 2, 2026, and sent the 2026 flyer on October 7. The dates and hours are from the flyer and its own event page.
