From the organizers: “For people who love nonfiction, big ideas, and the conversations they spark.”

Books & Big Ideas SF is a free evening for nonfiction readers in Rincon Hill on Wednesday, October 14, from 7pm to 8pm. Bring one nonfiction book you’ve read and would genuinely recommend, hear why the other readers chose theirs, then pick someone else’s book to take home and read next. The host describes it as a living bookshelf built by the people in the room, and plans later gatherings where the group comes back to talk about what they read.

Good to know: entry is free, but you request a spot on the host’s Luma page and the host approves each guest. The exact address is shared only after you’re approved; the listing places it in Rincon Hill. The host doesn’t publish an age limit.

Project SF listed this event from the host’s own Luma page. The organizer also sent it to us through our Submit an Event form.
