Glen Park’s independent bookshop and record store, two blocks from the Glen Park BART station. It is open for browsing Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 6 p.m., and closed Mondays.
Several evenings a week the shop becomes a small venue for live music, poetry readings and talks, run by the nonprofit Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Project. Many readings are free with donations welcome; concerts are usually ticketed. The shop says the door may be locked between 6 p.m. and showtime while it sets up, so check the calendar for that night.
