From the organizers: “There is no reservation needed and admission to the event is free, however many of the projects will have a small fee associated with them to cover the cost of our supplies.”
This year’s theme is “The Magic of Halloween,” and the museum told us the day is built around magic-themed crafts and games for kids. Come in costume: there are costume prizes. There is no trick-or-treat portion and no live animal presentation this year, though the animal room will be open.
The museum lists it for infants to age 12 and their families, and children under 8 need an adult with them. Activity tickets are sold on site. Parking is extremely limited, and the museum asks visitors to arrange other transportation.
