Start at the water, ride a cable car, and end at the Golden Gate Bridge. Most stops have their own page on this site.

A 1-day Muni visitor passport is $15 and covers Muni, Metro, historic streetcars and cable cars, per SFMTA, and a single cable car ride is $9.

Stops link to our place pages. Fares and rules checked against official pages on 27 October 2026.

More Plans

What We Could Not Confirm

  • We did not confirm walking or riding times between stops from an official source, so none are listed. Check SFMTA or BART for live trip planning.
  • Opening hours and prices change. Each place’s own page on this site links to the operator, and we do not repeat hours here.
  • Coit Tower prices on our page are the operator’s, shown there with the date we read them.

Questions People Ask

Is one day enough?

It covers the highlights. Our three-day guide gives a slower pace.

Do I need the visitor passport?

A cable car ride is $9 and the 1-day passport is $15, so two or more cable car rides plus Muni favor the passport.
