Project SF

Brightly coloured prints and artwork filling a wall

A working studio where artists with developmental disabilities make and sell their work, with a storefront gallery attached — so you are often looking at art with the people who made it in the next room. It has been going for more than forty years.

One of the two best galleries in the city for children. On Saturdays between noon and 3pm there are free community art projects children can simply sit down and join. Bright, colourful, unintimidating. Thursday and Friday 3–6pm, Saturday noon–5pm. Wheelchair accessible by a ramp.
