On Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5 to 9pm, the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District turns its stretch of 24th Street in the Mission into a Safe Trick-or-Treat Zone. Families bring kids in costume to collect candy from decorated storefronts, with volunteers accompanying families along the corridor.
Local businesses are invited to decorate and hand out candy, so the route is a walk past shops rather than a single stage or venue. It suits young children and anyone who wants a daylight-to-dusk Halloween without crossing a busy street alone.
