Bistro Moustache plays French café music at Scopo Divino, the wine bar and restaurant at California Street and Divisadero in Pacific Heights. The band’s sets blend chansons françaises, musette, swing manouche and gypsy jazz – waltzes, foxtrots, tangos and love songs, the music that was popular in France either side of the Second World War and is still played there today.
Scopo Divino lists Bistro Moustache among its house bands and has the band on its own calendar twice this month: Monday, October 12 and Monday, October 26, both 5pm to 8pm. The venue opens at 3pm on Mondays and takes reservations.
Scopo Divino is a wine bar and restaurant, so wine and food are sold on site; it publishes no age limit for its live-music evenings. No cover charge is published for these dates – ask the venue when you book.
