From the organizers: “The goal of the event is to help young people ages 16–24 connect directly with potential employers, explore career opportunities, and build their professional networks.”

Community Youth Center (CYC) brings its Fall Youth Job Fair to Center Court at Stonestown Galleria on Wednesday, October 14, from noon to 4 pm. Local businesses and organizations come to meet young job seekers, talk about their work and point them to current and future openings, including seasonal and part-time jobs.

CYC helps participants get ready before they meet employers: resume and LinkedIn guidance, mock interviews, and free professional attire and headshots are all part of the day. At the spring fair, more than 350 young people connected with 25 employers.

It is free to attend, and CYC encourages young people to register in advance through its event page. The fair is supported by the Department of Children, Youth and Their Families and the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development. Questions go to CYC (details on the event page).
