Museum of Craft and Design

Museums · Dogpatch · 2569 Third St

A pale museum room with a single lit display

A small, well-edited Dogpatch museum showing craft and design objects (furniture, ceramics, textiles, product design) rather than pictures on walls, which is exactly why it works with children.

Children through age 12 go free, and the MakeArt Lab runs hands-on workshops. Free to everyone on the first Thursday of the month. Open Thursday to Sunday noon–5pm, closed Monday to Wednesday.
