A bright library room with wooden bookshelves and study tables

The San Francisco Public Library’s Glen Park branch sits on Diamond Street, a short walk from Glen Park BART. It carries books for children, teens and adults, and its calendar lists free programs such as storytime for toddlers and workshops for older kids.

It is open seven days a week, with afternoon-only hours on Fridays and Sundays; Wednesday is the late night, until 8 p.m. Check the branch page for this week’s programs before you go.

SFPL lists hours without am/pm; afternoon/evening reading applied to closing times (standard SFPL format). Monday service is back: sfpl.org/locations/glen-park listed "Mon 10 - 6" when re-read 2026-10-14; the same page listed "Mon closed" on 2026-10-11, so the Monday row was published as closed until now.

From the venue’s own page, checked October 15, 2026. Holiday hours and one-off closures can differ.
