The Comité de Rescate Cultural leads the 45th annual Día de los Muertos Procession through the Mission District on Monday, November 2, 2026. It starts at 22nd and Bryant Streets at 7pm; the Danzantes (Aztec dancers) gather there at 6pm. Calle 24 Latino Cultural District, which lists it on its community calendar, says it is free and open to the public and that neighbors and families take part.
It is a walking community procession in the Mission rather than a ticketed show, so dress for an evening outdoors and expect crowds and street closures near the start. The organizers say the procession happens with or without funding and accept donations through a GoFundMe linked from the Calle 24 listing.
Not confirmed: the route and end point, and the street-closure details, are not on the listing we checked; we will add them when the organizers publish them. Source: Calle 24 Latino Cultural District’s event page, which names the Comité de Rescate Cultural as organizer.
