Market By Market
Ferry Plaza Farmers Market
Foodwise (formerly CUESA): Ferry Plaza Farmers Market
Saturday 8 am to 2 pm, the largest day with more than 100 vendors, and Tuesday and Thursday 10 am to 2 pm. It runs year round, rain or shine, at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero. cuesa.org now redirects to foodwise.org. The Foodwise visitor page says CalFresh EBT is accepted: swipe your card at the green Foodwise Info Booth to get market coins, and Market Match doubles benefits up to a set daily maximum, issued as tokens for fresh fruits and vegetables. The page does not state the maximum. See Ferry Building Marketplace.
Heart of the City Farmers Market
Heart of the City Farmers Market
Sundays and Wednesdays, 7 am to 4 pm, at Civic Center on Fulton Street and Larkin Street. Its page lists Fulton at Hyde in the header, so look for the market stalls along Fulton. The season is not stated. The market accepts EBT: buy $5 vouchers and $1 tokens at the Information Tent near Larkin and Fulton with a credit card, debit card or CalFresh EBT card. EBT purchases are matched dollar for dollar at the tent, with up to $30 in free vouchers per month for additional fruits and vegetables.
Alemany Farmers Market
Foodwise: Alemany Farmers Market
SF.gov: Alemany Farmers Market
Saturdays, 7 am to 2 pm, year round, at 100 Alemany Boulevard in Bernal Heights. SF.gov gives the same hours. Foodwise’s separate visitor-info page shows 7 am to 3 pm, so check before a late trip. Foodwise says shoppers can use CalFresh EBT, WIC and other benefits and can get free produce through Market Match; amounts are not stated. For questions SF.gov lists alemany@foodwise.org and 415-291-3276.
Divisadero Farmers’ Market
Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association: Divisadero
Sundays, 9 am to 1 pm, year round, at 1377 Fell Street. The market page does not give EBT or Market Match details; it links to a CalFresh/EBT and WIC page at pcfma.org/market-match. PCFMA’s home page says that with a CalFresh/EBT card at a PCFMA market you can double your budget for fresh fruits and vegetables plus up to an additional $15 per visit “for a limited time”. Confirm that the offer applies at this market.
Noe Valley Farmers Market
Saturdays, 8 am to 1 pm, at Noe Valley Town Square, 3861 24th Street. The site calls it a year-round California certified farmers market. It does not mention EBT, CalFresh or Market Match.
Fort Mason Center Farmers Market
California Farmers Markets Association: Fort Mason Center
Sundays, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, at Fort Mason Center on Marina Boulevard. The page gives no season and no EBT or Market Match information. The market is run by the California Farmers Markets Association, not PCFMA.

Using EBT, CalFresh and Market Match
Three of the six markets state benefit details on their own pages: Ferry Plaza (visitor info page), Heart of the City and Alemany. Both Ferry Plaza and Heart of the City use an information booth or tent where you swipe a card for tokens or vouchers. For Divisadero, Noe Valley and Fort Mason, ask the market or check with the organiser before relying on benefits.
