What time is Fort Mason Center open?
There is no one opening time. The centre's own office is open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, and every gallery, museum and programme on the campus sets its own hours - so check the hours of the one you are going for.
How much is parking at Fort Mason Center?
On a non-event day, $5 for the first hour, $10 for two, $15 for three, $20 for four and $25 beyond that. On an event day it starts at $6 and reaches $30 over four hours. Fees apply 7 am to midnight daily, overnight parking is not allowed, and the centre says the lot does fill up occasionally.
Can you get to Fort Mason Center by bus?
Yes. Muni lines 28, 30, 30X, 43 and 49 serve the campus, and Golden Gate Transit stops at Lombard and Fillmore Streets.
What is there to see at Fort Mason Center?
Resident galleries and museums include SF Camerawork, which has shown experimental photography since 1974, Haines Gallery's contemporary art, and the Museo Italo Americano, the first US museum devoted to Italian and Italian American art. Arion Press's traditional bookmaking and the FOR-SITE Foundation's public art are also on the campus.
