From the Sunset Mercantile press release: “It’s your last chance this year to see Cole Street transform into a bustling market and street fair, and the perfect time to shop for gifts and celebrate the season.”
Cole Valley Nights: Holiday Nights is the last Cole Valley Nights of 2026, on Thursday, December 10, from 4pm to 9pm, and it is free for visitors. Cole Street turns into a market and street fair with dozens of local vendors, food and drink, live music, performances, games and themed crafts. Sunset Mercantile’s Fun Zone gives kids a spot for games and activities in the middle of it.
The organizers name Slow Coast and Dan Dectis among the musicians, with more to come, and say the full entertainment program will be announced closer to the date. Cole Valley’s shops and restaurants stay open through the afternoon, and many sell gift cards and certificates. The evening is part of the Cole Valley Entertainment Zone, where to-go drinks from local bars and restaurants are welcome during the event.
Presented by the Cole Valley Merchants Association with Sunset Mercantile, Civic Joy Fund and Avenue Greenlight.
From the organizers: “All Sunset Mercantile events are free, kid/family-friendly, and accessible.” The street fair runs along Cole Street between Frederick and Parnassus, with the activity centered from the Cole and Carl intersection to Parnassus. Check the organizers’ page before you go.
