SOMArts Cultural Center opens its 27th annual Día de Los Muertos exhibition, In Their Name, which this year honors mother figures, with personal altars for loved ones who have died. Opening night adds an artist market with local makers and a performance by Las Hijas de la Madre. Tickets are $15, youth 16 and under get in free, and SOMArts says no one is turned away for lack of funds. The exhibition stays up through November 20.
