San Francisco Pride is two things on one weekend: a free celebration at Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, and on Sunday, the parade down Market Street. The 2027 dates are confirmed, 26–27 June; the parade time and theme will follow. Here is how it works, based on the 2026 event.
The parade
In 2026 the parade started at 10:30am on Sunday at Beale and Market Streets and ran about 1.6 miles along Market Street to Civic Center. SFMTA closed Market Street from Beale to 9th from 9:30am. The 2027 time has not been announced; it will be on SF Pride’s parade page.
The Civic Center celebration
Stages, food and community booths on Civic Center Plaza, from noon to 6pm on both days in 2026, with entrances on Market Street and Grove Street. Entry is free, with a suggested $5 to $10 donation that goes to nonprofits.

SF Pride describes the weekend as all ages, and it is, but it is a crowded adult event and some of it is for adults.

What time does the Pride parade start?

Is SF Pride free?
Yes. Both the parade and the Civic Center celebration are free. SF Pride suggests a $5 to $10 donation at the celebration gates, which goes to nonprofits.
What can you bring to SF Pride?
Small bags and backpacks are fine. Weapons, glass bottles, large bags, hard coolers, chairs and outside alcohol are not allowed at the celebration. Bring a card or phone: it is mostly cashless.
