San Francisco Pride is two things on one weekend: a free celebration at Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, and on Sunday, the parade down Market Street. The 2027 dates are confirmed, 26–27 June; the parade time and theme will follow. Here is how it works, based on the 2026 event.
The Parade
In 2026 the parade started at 10:30am on Sunday at Beale and Market Streets and ran about 1.6 miles along Market Street to Civic Center. SFMTA closed Market Street from Beale to 9th from 9:30am. The 2027 time has not been announced; it will be on SF Pride’s parade page.
The Civic Center Celebration
Stages, food and community booths on Civic Center Plaza, from noon to 6pm on both days in 2026 (SF Pride’s celebration page says noon; its FAQ says 11am, so expect gates to open between the two), with entrances on Market Street and Grove Street. Entry is free, with a suggested $5 to $10 donation that goes to nonprofits.

On bags, SF Pride’s own pages disagree: its FAQ allows small bags and backpacks, while its celebration page allows only clear plastic bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a small clutch. Bring a small clear bag and you are covered either way.
SF Pride describes the weekend as all ages, and it is, but it is a crowded adult event and some of it is for adults.

Re-checked on 15 October 2026 on sfpride.org: 57th Annual Celebration & Parade on 26–27 June 2027; the 2027 parade start time and route had not been published (the 2026 parade stepped off at 10:30am). The celebration page lists noon to 6pm with a suggested $5–$10 donation at the gates, while the FAQ still says 11am to 6pm.

When is San Francisco Pride 2027?

What time does the Pride parade start?
