
The Botanical Garden drops admission for all visitors on Thanksgiving Day, one of a handful of days it is free to non-residents. Fifty-five acres of gardens are open for a walk between meals, including the redwood grove and the Andean cloud forest. Gates open early and last entry is an hour before closing.
